When this is open to the public it is an exceptional place to soak. Sometimes the bison are down by the river. It is about a 1 mile walk on trail to the spot you get in the river so bring a towel or robe for the trip back to the car. You will also want a good pair of water shoes.

This is a perfect place for a day trip to the water. Bring your camp chair, paddleboard, and picnic. The views are unforgettable. This spot can be windy and is a bit of a drive off the main road. A fun spot to see the locals windsurfing.
