Skiing: Camelback is probably the biggest ski mountain and has other activities, such as snow tubing in winter and zip lining and an outdoor water park in the summer. There are 6 six resorts in the area. The Pocono Mountains offers plenty of locations for equipment rental where you can stop at along the way and get geared up to hit the slopes. Or rentals are available at our ski resorts in PA; Blue Mountain Ski Resort, Camelback Mountains Resort, Jack Frost Big Boulder, Shawnee Mountain and Ski Big Bear.

Hiking: Lots of hiking trails. My favorite is Seven Tubs. There is also the Delaware Water Gap, but that is about 40 minutes away.

Pinecrest Lake Golf & Country Club is a private, par 72, 18-hole championship mountain golf course that measures a deceptive 6,215 yards from the back tees. Established in 1998, this J. Chrisopher Cummins designed course features an unusual layout with six par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's that meander among the natural landscape and showcases our native pine trees, mountain laurel and rhododendrons. Over 200+ feet of elevation changes make for scenic views and challenging club selection. Our returning 'nines' course features tee-to-green bentgrass which only enhances the private playing experience.

My favorite winery
Blue Ridge Winery is an amazing experience: tasting rooms, live music and food trucks. You can sit on the patio overlooking the mountains and they also have tables for sitting right in the vineyards. Highly recommend if you want to take an excursion.
