It's only half a block away! Nice playgrounds, picnic areas, and nature trails. Use the back entrance like the locals. Walk down the driveway and turn left. Follow the road around the curve and there will be a gate right before the next curve in the road. They lock that gate one half hour before sunset, so be aware of the time! You will have a longer walk home if you get locked in. Just exit through the front gate and walk around.

Grab the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas early in the morning, eat at Ruby's and be one of the first people on the beach on a hot day. This way you'll have an easy time parking.
