If you've never had South African cuisine, this is the place to try it. Great date spot if your date is adventurous. Also a small selection of South African wines. The bar area is a bit small but have dinner here and check out a bar nearby.

Junior's Cheesecake is famous for a reason. It's simply delicious. You'll never have another slice of cheesecake that beats it. Its extremely decadent so plan on having leftovers or sharing with a friend or date. The restaurant is meh, but the cheesecake is a must have.

This restaurant and local hang spot is ran by solar energy. In fact its only open in the summer. I don't typically eat a meal here, but you have to try the corn on the cob and a frozen margarita. Kick back on the patio outside with corn and margarita to get your summer day started.

The best fast gourmet burger you'll ever have. If you're in NY you must have a Shake Shack Burger and fries at some point during your stay. There's also another location across the street from Barclays Center.

The best Mediterranean eats in all of Brooklyn with a cool eclectic setting. They also have a good happy hour if you can make it there early. They do not take reservations but the wait is never too long.
