Food scene
This is a great local food hall, over looking Clear Creek, the river that runs through downtown. It has fantastic NZ ice cream, BBQ, Sushi, Mexican, a fried chicken restaurant plus a whole wall of pour your own beer. Lively music on the weekends!
Walk down Clark St, cross Garden and you're on the path towards the Golden Mill. After you use the crosswalk and go under the bridge, you'll come to a T, take a right and it will lead you to Vanover Park. The Golden Mill is across the street, can't miss it.

My personal favorite. If you love Indian/Nepali food please don't miss Sherpa House. It has it's own brewery on site as well. If it's a nice day, the patio is absolutely beautiful. Go check it out.

Sightseeing
This is the closest major trailhead from the ADU. From the garage, head uphill on Clark, take a left on Boyd, left on Peery Parkway, which will lead you to the parking lots. It's about a 5 minute walk. This trail will lead you to the Golden Cliffs. Go past all of the rock climbers and it will take you to the top of the Mesa!

One of our favorite hikes! It's about a 15 minute drive up to the M, taking Lookout Mountain Rd. It's an easy hike with great views. Refreshing to get out of the city and take a hike!
