More history, omg the history, the views, the sights, sounds, the shopping, etc. A good place to spend the day sight seeing, shopping, and eating. East Stroudsburg is a tourists' paradise because it is where the civilization is...everything that is a nationwide chain known in your area you will most likely find it here.

Neighborhoods
This is our community. We have an abundance of lakes with beaches and playgrounds and outdoor areas. We have an outdoor & indoor pool, tennis & basketball courts, and an outdoor butterfly garden. Our neighborhood has plenty of deer who love to be fed by visitors!

Shopping
Okay for all of you antique market enthusiasts, I got a challenge for you, this antique mall is largest in the area. It is several thousand square feet of vendors selling their wares. If you are looking for that hard to find classic chachka then this is the place for you. I would not recommend it for young kids as you cannot really touch anything and it just a lot of walking and looking...trust me, they will get bored as hell and wanna leave.

About 15 minutes from our house there is a wonderful place our daughter enjoys and it is perfect for those who have always wanted to try horseback riding. Guided tours along the creek while taking in the wonderful mountain views. Perfect for older kids and adults alike. When done, walk right next door to Kasa Pizza....(see food scene).

We are far enough that you do not hear the race cars thankfully but we are close enough that when they have their annual airshow you can hear those jets from our living room! Coincide your visit with one of their events!

Wonderful atmosphere, good food, great for family dining & fun. Is a small scale movie theater, an arcade, a mini-golf, and ice cream parlor. Under new management recently so have not really had a chance to check it out yet but in the past this was always our goto.

Why pack all the food having it take up space in your car just to go bad from the long car ride, when you can come empty handed and shop here for half the cost! Great food, excellent prices, eclectic selection. This place is like the love child of ShopRite and Save-A-Lot. :P

We do not provide Towels, Rags, Linens, Food, Toiletries
If you are not getting the Linen Rental package please make sure you pack enough linens and extra pillowcases for your trip. Please pack plenty of towels/rags. We provide cooking essentials & spices but not food. Your best bet is to wait till you get here and then head over to Weis up the street to buy your food. Especially if you are coming long distances. For sanitary reasons all guests must provide their own toiletries, just please make sure you remember to take them when you check out.

We are not near any bus routes, trains, or subways.
First, subways do not even EXIST in the Poconos. Trains are mostly freight and not commuter. However there may be a new line opening up from New York to Scranton (god-willing!). The nearest bus is 5 mins away at the shopping plaza on 940. The bus is called the Pocono Pony and it is the mass transportation system of the Poconos. If you think you can do a Lyft or Uber here is a wake up call...those services are rare up here and few far in between. Your best bet is a taxi or a rental car!
