Food scene

The food is not the best in town, but the ambiance is great. I recommend the habersham Platter, southern Sushi and of course the crispy scored flounder. For dessert order the praline basket. ** I also consider this place as a free historic tour. If you can go in early and the host is not too busy (before lunch) they will take you on a tour and give the history of the home. ***** please tip depending on the job they do. I would say at least $5 - $10. **** late night there is a piano player downstairs in the Planter’s Tavern. Well worth it especially if it is cold - they have a roaring fireplace. *** there is also a singer who travels around the house in Victorian garb and her name is Sidra!! She is the bomb. Make sure you tip her if she sings for you. She WILL take requests. My husband used to work there and all the oldies will still recognize his name - Jason Restivo. :)
