If you want to get outdoors and not get in a car first, try these. (The main trailhead for Spencer's Butte is a 7-minute drive away, or you want a good workout you can walk directly from the Loft along the Ridgeline Trail for a longer day hike.)
The Ridgeline Trail circles the southern 2/3 of Eugene, with numerous trailhead access points. The closest one to the Loft is on Martin Street about a 15-minute walk away. (See map next page that shows walking route from Loft to the trailhead.) We've also left an official trail map in the Loft for you to use while here.
