One of the best on-the-farm restaurants in Vermont. About 10-12 mins drive from Skyland. Casual yet beautiful. Outdoor summer dining on the verandah or sprawling lawn (at least during covid). In winter, by the fire. Excellent service. We love it & go there for all special occasions. Typically only open Thu, Fri, & Sat though this can vary. Set menu but you can make dietary requests. BYOB. Local walks, hikes, cross-country skiing
Easy walking on dozens of trails in a beautiful place 5 mins drive from Skyland. Closest entrance with parking lot is on Prospect Road. You can walk around The Pogue and be back home in an hour. A variety of longer hikes also possible, as are snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on groomed trails in the winter.
