Great store to visit especially for fly fishers. They offer fishing classes and have a stocked trout pond. We primarily visit to feed the fish- they have a coin operated fish food dispenser.
Bring your quarters to feed the trout. A lovely outdoor park-like setting surrounds the historic flagship store.

Historic covered bridge! Quintessential Vermont. There is river access and a picnic area here. Great place to take a dip. Parking fills up very fast on weekends.

The closest store to the Sheep Shack. Their slogan puts it best: if they don’t have it, you don’t need it. Really great deli sandwiches and locally made products from syrup to hats.
