My favorite local wine bar overlooking the falls! In good weather, the patio is a must. I love their beautiful upstairs space which makes you feel like you're in a huge living room, overlooking Wappinger's Falls.
Great wine selection and they have food, too (I love their seasonal hummus, but if charcuterie boards are your thing, they have these too with a lot of selections).

This is one of my favorite eateries and it's close by in Fishkill. It's dine-in (lovely dining room) or take-out, no delivery. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had (and the Thai-hot spice level is no joke).

Another eatery that I like on Main Street, Fishkill! While I'm not a beer drinker, if you are, you'll be happy with the tap selection. They have an interesting menu, one veg option that's really good. Fun vibe.

There are several great trails here and while it's not especially precarious (I hate walking down rocks), you're not on a paved road either. Love it here!
