Waffle House started in Atlanta and is still world headquarters for the brand. You will notice them EVERYWHERE.. for good reason. It's comfort food (mostly breakfast) fast and friendly. If you've never tried it, you should.

Gwinnett County has the best public parks in the state.
I think every park has walking trails where you can get out, get some fresh air and take in some of the amazing greenery that gives Atlanta the name, "city in a forest".
The Harmony Grove Soccer Complex is just up the street and the stone Mountain Aquatic center is only a few minutes away. There are different offerings at every park. The parks are maintained very well and they are safe, fun places to spend some outdoor time. Google Gwinnett Parks near me and see just how many there are very close.
