Going by car or public transport, you arrive in Leiden from Katwijk in roughly 20 minutes. You can explore the city on foot or discover the many museums it has to offer. Leiden is an old city with many beautiful buildings. It is also the home of Leiden University, founded in 1575. We recommend you to visit Leiden at least once during your stay!

You can get to The Hague by bike through the dunes, but this would take you roughly 50 to 60 minutes (depending on your level of fitness 😉). You can also take the car to The Hague, which takes roughly half an hour. Another option would be going to The Hague via public transport. Once there, this Dutch city has plenty to offer. You can even drive past the Paleis Huis ten Bosch (the Dutch royal residence) or stop there to walk past the palace grounds. Or visit the museums Den Haag has to offer!
