One of the newer brewpubs to hit the Catskills, Woodstock Brewing’s mountainside location and plentiful outdoor seating make it a scenic choice to wile away an hour or two sharing wings or nachos alongside house brews like the Mean Charlene Gose, which is brewed with pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and tart key lime. Also worthy of note is the Woodstock Lager, which contains hints of “fresh baked biscuit” and “new spring flowers.”

Brio’s looks like any old pizza spot, but its lunch menu truly goes the distance, featuring wood-fired pizzas alongside shrimp fajitas, grass-fed burgers, and classic Italian sandwiches. Try one of the fruit-filled, lactose-free smoothies after a morning spent basking in the sun in the Hudson Valley.

We are changing the world, one cup of coffee at a time.
Message from the owner.....
I opened “Maeve’s Place” for one reason, my daughter Maeve, who has Down Syndrome. I had to ask myself the question, “what will you do when the school bus stops coming?” The answer was to open a coffee shop. I wanted to give my daughter an opportunity to become the best version of herself and to create a safe environment where she could learn. Now our dream is to provide employment opportunities and/or a place for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to hang out.

The hike to Giant Ledge is so popular, you can go to a Map app and start typing “Giant Led…” and it will complete your thought with “Giant Ledge trailhead, Phoenicia, NY, United States.” Most trailheads are tough to search for on Map apps, if you can find them at all, but the Giant Ledge trailhead is easier to find online than your nearest IKEA.
