A rainforest in the middle of our beautiful city. This place is one of a kind. Stanley Park is an amazing spectacle of nature, with amazing veiws of the forest, but also some fantastic beach views of the city. You can get lost here for an entire day. Run or bike the perimeter (counter-clockwise only) or take a scooter or car around the driving path. I suggest a bike ;)

Stairs carved out into the mountain get you from the bottom of the mountain all the way up Grouse Mountain. On the way down, you need to take the gondola, which provides stunning views of the hike you just finished! ** not the easiest hike **

This is a really cool experience for adults and kids! Get a tour of what a mine looks like, even just stopping by and checking it out on the outside is cool! Very interesting, and built into the side of a mountain.

Entertainment & Activities
A quick shot to Cypress gets you to a ski area that even has night skiing. There are lots of cross country and snowshoeing trails here too. Its a winter wonderland.

Getting Around
Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Vancouver Island, Bowen Island, or the Sunshine Coast. Ferry Rides themselves are AMAZING for viewing our land from the water.
