This is just 800 meters (1/2 mile) from our door. We LOVE doing a walk up here at night as it overlooks Golden. There's a great loop around the park and a skate park for teens or kiddos!

We LOVE the hot pool! It's about 99 degrees, great for soaking in for hours, or bringing the kids to play. This historical stop is funky, cool, and just a fun CO thing to do on a lazy day. *Book ahead of time due to COVID restrictions. It's just a 20 min drive from our home.

We go here once a quarter, becuase yes, it's that amazing. Great for older kids, families, groups or solo. Their constant rotation of amazing art, 20 mins from our home, is a must-do and see.

Fun for kiddos up to age 8? We take our 1 yr old here every week and love watching him play, interact with others and burn off some steam. Great for when it's too hot or cold outside : )
