It's hard to find good pizza at the beach (and a place that offers GF!), so Mellow Mushroom is definitely worth the 20 min drive for us! And it's a huge space with really cool coastal decor and huge aquariums!

Sightseeing
People come from all over the country to visit the Kindred Spirit mailbox. Located on the southern end of the island, it's about a mile walk from the last access point. Locals maintain the mailbox and keep fresh journals and pens in there for people to annonymously write down whatever's on their mind. The kids like riding their bikes down there (on the way to the jetty), I like sitting and reading through the journals, and adding to them when I feel inspired!
