Sightseeing
This is a great short trail for a morning or afternoon hike. The easiest way to get to the trail head is at the end of the Riedbauer's Resort parking lot. You should see a wooden bridge. Cross it and follow the trial to the waterfall

Kaaterskill Falls
This is why we come to our cabin. Windham offers year-round activities from skiing, to hiking, to mountain biking. It is under 30 min from the Cabin and it feels so nice to return to our cozy cabin after an exhausting day of activities at Windham.

This small town would be considered a bustling city in our region of the Catskills. It is full of great restaurants from all ethnicities and shopping from local stores to mega-marts. It is just about a 18 min drive away from Happy Cat Cabin. Make sure to check this town out!

Cairo (Pronounced "care-row", NOT "kai-row", by the locals) is the closest town to our cabin. It has a Hannaford grocery store, CVS, liquor store. You should be able to find all your vacation and groceries in Cairo. It's about 10 minutes away driving and you get to drive through some nice local roads to get there.

This is why we come to our cabin. Hunter Mountain has great skiing, hiking and mountain biking. It is about 28 min drive from our cabin. We love to spend an exhausting day here then return to our cozy cabin for a night of relaxation.

Riedbauer's Resort is a small local resort in Round Top. There is a golf driving range there for the summer. You can also get to make trial heads for hiking and mountain hiking from their parking lot. They also have some of the best beers, German sausages and bar foods around.

This is another local resort where we love going to on the summer evenings. You can get a beer or a cup of coffee and sit by a big bonfire they light on summer nights. It's a great hangout spot if you want to step out of the cabin during your stay.

This campground is the largest in the Catskill region. This campsite is open to day use from 7am to 9pm. You can rent boats for rowing on the gorgeous lake, fish, and hike around the campgrounds.
