Let's Go To The Beach!
A BLUE FLAG BEACH WITH A SEASIDE AWARD:
The beach boasts 3 miles of golden sand perfect for families, surfers and sailboard enthusiasts alike. The tide goes out a long way so the shallow waters are great for little ones to paddle in. Dolphins are regularly spotted on the bay, and on calm days you can stand on the shore and see them leaping from the sea.
TOP TIPS:
1. Get your fishing nets, buckets and spades, and crabbing lines from It's A Gift to discover the wildlife that reside in the rock pools.
2. Get a lesson or rent a surf board, SUP board or kayak on Borth beach from Aber Adventures by pre-arrangement and hit the waves
3. When the tide is out, access the beach via the secluded cove (exit the cottage and follow the lane towards the seafront and around the farm to the bottom of the hill, then take a right at the bottom of the hill where you will find the secluded cove: it is perfect for rock pooling.

Follow the promenade to the end of Borth and you'll find the reserve. A walk around takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The reserve consists of the Dyfi Estuary, Ynyslas Sandunes and the submerged forest of Cors Fachno. Explore the dunes, discover the wildflowers and spot the dolphins and porpoise just off the coast.

Leave the cottage and head down to the narrow lane through the farm towards the seafront and continue until the lane turns off right towards the seafront.
Ascend the coastal path from the cove towards Aberystwyth by going up the incline on the right (facing the sea). Follow the path to constitution hill in Aberystwyth, visiting Clarach Bay along the way.

There is also a soft play area for smaller children, and a games room for all! Please note the leisure complex is generally open from 6pm between March and November, and from 12pm in school holidays. It is closed between November and March.
