This is a great lake to visit. There are several ferries and boats to commute from one side to the other. Ask the staff about tickets, some of them are run by SBB.

Locarno is in the Italian part of Switzerland.
We highly recommend going for a visit. There are several beaches where you can relax and go for a swim and there's even Europe's highest Bungee jump from a dam.
We've also had previous guests that really enjoyed to spend a day in this city.

We went here for a daytrip and are looking forward to going back when we have a week off from working. Then we'll walk up instead of taking the train.
It's one of the highest mountains with railroad connections in Switzerland and whole Europe.

Uetliberg is in Zurich. It takes about 2 hours to reach the top by foot. It isn't the highest mountain, but it has really beautiful nature paths and is safe and family friendly.

In Zugersee for example there are paid beaches as well as free to use ones. You'll find the free options by asking locals nearby. We'll point to these ones on the map for you if you want.

Going to Aldi, Denner or Lidl will likely save you more money than going to Coop or Migros.
All these shops are in a walking distance from our house and we'll happily guide you if you want.

If you're going to visit places nearby get a 24h ticket instead of paying for several short time commute tickets.
The tickets can be found at the Baar train/bus station 5minute walk from the apartment.
We recommend our guests go to the SBB office to buy their tickets if you're uncomfortable with the ticket machines. They're helpful there and have English speaking customer service.
