Here you'll find up to date/open restaurants in Golden - but do call ahead or check their FB page for most accurate information. By taking the alley next to the house just 6 short blocks north to 15th, hang a left and you're in town! Map it and enjoy great local eateries, sweet shops, parks and live music (and leave the car at home!).

Wait time for a table can be an hour at peak times (4pm-6pm) so get there early, or late to avoid the lines or meet the locals with their dogs in tow while waiting on the lawn out front. Near the Golden Railroad Museum off 10th street a 5 mile drive to the east of downtown. Park on the street and avoid the parking lot - or better yet - bike to the brewery like the locals do!

Out of the way brewery - a hidden gem and a one-of-a-kind gluten-free brewery! Who knew gluten-free could taste so good? Karen Hertz did! Big Henry's Hazy IPA is my favorite and I don't miss the gluten, esp. in their experimental beers and ciders.
