Excellent St Austell Brewery establishment, they serve great coffee with a view of Fowey River and quay and superb food in this beautifully restored building in the heart of Fowey.

Watch the sunset and park in the big carpark on the right as you drive in to Polkerris, free after 6pm, but do check that this is still the case when you visit! Only four miles from Sky Cottage

A real treat, try the delicious duck, cod or melt in the mouth pork belly. The food is beautifully cooked and the service excellent. The cheeseboard ... you won't regret it!

A delightful pub well loved by locals, serving excellent Sunday Roast or try the homemade black bean burger, superb. The seafood chowder is also a winner, you can't go wrong choosing this pub, good Cornish Ales served too.

Great views across the River Fowey, with lots of outside seating, some under cover. The friendly landlord and his staff give a great welcome, although booking is advisable as this pub get incredibly busy especially in the summer. Sunday roast lunch in the winter months is not to be missed.

The best pizza on earth! And a funky nice bar and restaurant too, with lovely outside space, comfy sofas and a great buzz... good for lunch or evening. Charlestown is 7 miles, plenty of parking, roadside and in more formal carparks.

Look out for The Eden Sessions, live bands and performers with this incredible backdrop, in June and July. (Beware, long queues to leave afterwards, but a lot easier than going to the O2!)

Included in the very reasonable £7 entry cost is a cup of tea or coffee and as many return visits as you would like this year... what's not to like about that! Also available are lots of plants for sale and some pretty tasty homemade cake!
