Sightseeing
If you have a national park pass this is a must see! Heck, even if you don’t have one, this is a must see! This is the tail end of the Grand Canyon and it is spectacular!! It takes about an hour and a half to two hours to drive over if you take in all the points of interest. I highly recommend!!
Colorado National Monument
11 Rimrock DrThis is the largest flat top mountain in the world and if you’re lucky enough to be here the last week of September, then you can drive over and see fall colors. It’s a tradition here in the grand valley and it is beautiful!! The Ute Indians that populated this valley believed the gods lived on top of the mountain, and when we have our spring thunder storms you most certainly can see why! You can drive over the mountain in about 3 hours. But it most assuredly will take you longer because of all the stops you’ll want to make!

This is a great day trip! This is a wonderful little city to visit and is only a 2.5 hour drive from Grand Junction. This is a great day trip! This is a wonderful little city to visit and is only a 2.5 hour drive from Grand Junction. This is my favorite Colorado town!!
If you’re a free spirit then Orvis is for you. It’s a lovely hot springs with varying degree hot pools and it’s clothing optional.

This is a great hot springs located about an hour away. It has a cafe on site that carries adult beverages and yummy snacks! It’s large and always clean!
