You will need your own vehicle.
Take a little time to just enjoy the fresh mountain air and views on the deck. Or walk around the lake and see the Continental Divide as you look at the mountains in the west.
If you forgot to buy milk or bread, Taggert's Convenience Store and Gas Station is just a few miles south on Hwy 119.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park is beautiful and only a mile away with great hikes.
If you want to go to Rocky Mountain National Park, start early it is about 1.5 hour drive and the park is HUGE.
