My local fav when it comes to hiking - it’s suitable for all levels of hiking beginner to champions. We frequent Boulder and the Flatirons it simply is fantastic! From the apartment take the 470 tollway - it’ll likely save you at least 35 minutes drive and is a much smoother run to Boulder than ANY other route from our house.

Approximately 90 minutes drive is Estes Park, a fab day out in the Rocky Mountains. We’ve been lucky enough to see elk and deer in the Rocky Mountain National Park and experience some awesome hikes along with the river walk in town and the awesome Stanley Hotel tour - book first!

Pizzeria Locale is a fancy pizza lovers dream! My favorite place to eat in Boulder wii the best dessert (I’m my opinion) in Colorado. It’s sister restaurant (right next door) is the only James Beard Award winner in Colorado for 2020!

From our place the best transport downtown is to drive or ride share. Or you can jump on the light rail on 112th and Irma and park right at the station. Opened September 2020.

From our place take the 470 Tollway, you’ll pay a toll fare (be sure to check with your rental car company or visit expresstoll.com) as you’ll be there in about 16 minutes as opposed to a 35-45 minute drive on regular roads.
