They deliver! Genova’s is only restaurant that delivers to the guesthouse using their own drivers. GrubHub and similar services exist but are hit or miss. Genova’s is a local chain and their pizza and strombolis are really good. We order regularly from them and they are consistently good and their delivery estimate time is accurate.

There are two Air & Space museums. This one is in downtown DC with the other Smithsonian museums. This one is a favorite of kids (or anyone) who likes airplanes and space.

Passes and parking can be reserved online ahead of time, which we’d recommend doing if you plan to go to the zoo on a busy day. There are some different animals here than the Maryland Zoo, such as gorillas and orangutans, wolves, tigers, and sea lions. The DC zoo is on a large hill and requires a lot of walking, so if you have kids in strollers, bring the stroller. Both are nice large zoos, but the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is closer and easier to manage from the guesthouse.
