Short drive from Lilly’s & a great place to take the family. The theme park is very well thought out and pricing is reasonable. Great selection of rides for both adults and children. Shaded areas are scattered throughout and a selection of food is available.

Australia Zoo

Our family just love visiting the Australia Zoo. It’s is a must do when visiting the Sunshine Coast. You may want to make a day of it to fit all of the animal shows in. There is a large variety of sections to visit & plenty eateries. Take your towels kids because there is a fabulous water area to help cool down on a warm sunny day. Do leave time to take a short tour of the animal hospital who rescue & care for so many precious animals. The Irwin family often make appearances, it’s fantastic to watch them work their magic within this beautiful Zoo.

This is a great little Zoo located at the Big Pineapple, Woombye which is a 15-20 min drive from Lilly’s. The entry & Animal Encounters are well priced and great value. The staff are lovely and passionate about their work. You can be in & out in just a couple of hours but definitely a worthwhile visit particularly if you have smaller children.

This is a great little Zoo located at the Big Pineapple, Woombye which is a 15-20 min drive from Lilly’s. The entry & Animal Encounters are well priced and great value. The staff are lovely and passionate about their work. You can be in & out in just a couple of hours but definitely a worthwhile visit particularly if you have smaller children.

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium

Located in Mooloolaba, a 12-15 minute drive from Lilly’s. The underwater tube is fantastic for all ages, seeing sharks, giant gropers lots of tropical fish . There is a children’s touch pool where you can touch starfish, cucumbers and urchins when staffed. Allow at least 2 hours to walk through & catch a show or 2.

If in need of a physical challenge you may like to give Tree Tops a go! “Get Ready to Push your fears to the limit and get your adrenaline racing at the Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast. Our Adventure Park takes you sky-high with 100 challenges and 12 ziplines sitting in the trees at more than 25m above the ground. Located at The Big Pineapple , our challenge features five unique courses starting off easy and working up to heart-pumping extreme. For the Sunshine Coast we’ve crafted totally new challenges and obstacles that are completely different to our other two adventure parks.”
