It has a terrace on the market town's main street (good for 'people watching' or even just a cup of coffee) and a cosy interior. The prices are very reasonable--and there's a 'children's menu' as well as vegetarian options.

Much more than 'a tourist attraction', this reptilarium a 10-minute drive from the cottage is well worth a visit to see not only alligators but snakes and tortoises, too! There are outdoor areas as well as picnic tables and playground equipment-- you could take a picnic and spend a good portion of a day here.
