Better known as "Lohi", this ultra-hip neighborhood is known for its cocktail lounges, craft beer spots, and stylish restaurants, some with rooftop views over the skyline. Be sure to check out Avanti Food and Beverage, which boasts great views from their rooftop patio, O'linger, a funeral home turned restaurant, and the iconic, oversized milk can that holds the Little Man Ice Cream shop near Hirshorn Park. Located just 1.5 miles from our house!

Within the park, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science has a planetarium, an IMAX theater and temporary shows, while exotic reptiles and events draw families to nearby Denver Zoo (keep your ears peeled to hear the sea lions while walking through the park!). South of the park, East Colfax Avenue has cool cafes, retro-style bars and the Bluebird Theater concert venue.
