A lovely walk around East Angle Bay, with views along the estuary, pebble beaches where interesting shells can be found, and the perfect spots for crab fishing. Boats can be launched from the slipway, and this is also a great spot for paddle boarding. Continue your walk past the lifeboat station and around "the point" on the coastal path, and you will eventually arrive at the beach at the other end of the village. There is a cafe at the Old Fort Museum, and of course, the Wavecrest Cafe at the beach to refresh you along the way. (Approx 1.5 hours walk).

An interesting Castleto explore and there are often events and activities for children during the summer holidays. If you need to pop into town to top up supplies, why not combine it with a visit to the castle?
