Getting Around
The RTA bus system actually works well for getting around. there is a bus that picks you up right on the corner of Washington and Magazine. It will take you straight to the Canal and the French Quarter. If you cross the street and catch a bus on the other side by the gas station, that will take you down to the zoo. Not bad for $1.25 per trip.
