Activities
Lovely lakeside beach and park. The park has picnic areas too, so remember to bring food for a bbq. Take Rte 103 north out of Ludlow, follow 1.5 miles, turn right onto Rte 100 North, follow for approx 4 miles, look for Reading road on right (look for the Echo Lake Inn on your left). Follow up for 1.5 miles, Turn left onto Boy Scout Camp Road. Follow 1.0 mile to the park, turn in on the left.

Camp Plymouth State Park

Take Rte 103 north out of Ludlow, follow 1.5 miles, turn right onto Rte 100 North, follow for approx 4 miles, look for Reading road on right (look for the Echo Lake Inn on your left). Follow up for 1.5 miles, Turn left onto Boy Scout Camp Road. Follow 1.0 mile to the park, turn in on the left.
Okemo’s Ice House, located at Jackson Gore, is a multi-functional, year-round sports pavilion that is open to the public. The main building, a pre-engineered steel structure, houses a 115 by 215 foot skating rink in winter and a tennis court and basketball court, surrounded by a single-lane jogging track, in summer.
The adjacent building features a gas-fueled fireplace for skaters to warm themselves in winter. Skate rentals are available and an ice resurfacing machine keeps the skating surface smooth and in top condition.
Jackson Gore Road
Jackson Gore RoadOkemo’s Ice House, located at Jackson Gore, is a multi-functional, year-round sports pavilion that is open to the public. The main building, a pre-engineered steel structure, houses a 115 by 215 foot skating rink in winter and a tennis court and basketball court, surrounded by a single-lane jogging track, in summer.

Skiing/Snowboarding
The closest mountain to the house. The main base is just 6 miles or about a 10 minute drive. If you leave the house late or at busy times we recommend driving to the Jackson Gore base. It's a couple of miles further but offers closer parking to the lifts and shorter lines to get up the mountain. Drive through Ludlow and you will see access to the main base on your left. If you drive past that for another mile and a half you will make a left into the Jackson Gore area.

77 Okemo Ridge RdThe closest mountain to the house. The main base is just 6 miles or about a 10 minute drive. If you leave the house late or at busy times we recommend driving to the Jackson Gore base. Take Rte 103 north out of Ludlow, follow 1.6, turn right onto Buttermilk Falls road follow roughly one mile up to the dead end. Follow paths down to the river on the right-hand side. This is a short walk but is great to look at the waterfalls.
