Wonderful hiking & biking trails. Plenty of quick trails -or more extensive- with gorgeous natural waterfalls & bluff views. Some spots you can even drive or ride motorcycle to. All levels, suitable for families, includes playground and playing field, many picnic/camping areas, a pavilion and even a mini amphitheater. The Wernher Von Braun Planetarium is also located here. If interested, this is a historic spot that used to have a rail access in the 1800s & was considered a health spa location.

Axe Throwing, Tattoos, Craft Brews & food food food! This is a local high school turned into a multi-compound attraction. Down the street is Stovehouse, a similar scene with live music, food and craft brews, but with an industrial theme.
Somewhat family suitable, there is plenty of space and even grassy areas for kids to expend energy. Though no area to leave kids unattended.

Tons of shops & artists located inside, including my favorite record store in Huntsville: Vertical House Records.
It houses Irons One Whiskey Distillery & a cool kombucha bar!
Family friendly but please make sure kids do not play with art exhibits (unless otherwise instructed to).
Many classes & workshops are offered here.
