3km away. The best place to get a wonderful view of the Perth skyline and its reflection in the river is from the South Perth foreshore. With the river winding past at a lazy pace and the city reflected in the calm waters and with Kings Park in the background it is hard to go past a better view. You can stretch your legs along the endless sidewalks, or rest on the spacious lawns. Perth has broad green spaces on both sides of the river. This provides vistas, walk ways, cycle ways and various other activities.

Food Scene

The ‘American Tapas & Lounge Bar’ seamlessly fits into the Vic Park strip and is friendly and welcoming. Decanter definitely had a laid-back vibe, nicely kept but not pretentious. Food is consistently good.

Sightseeing

4km away. An interesting place to just take a walk along Perth's waterfront. It's also a great place to just sit back and watch the world go by. Elizabeth Quay is a mixed-use development project in the Perth central business district. Located on the north shore of Perth Water and centred on the landmark Swan Bells, it is named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. Also the departure point for worthwhile boat cruises and ferry rides (Barrack Street Jetty).

Travel to Rottnest Island, a favourite local getaway due to its secluded beaches and relaxing environment, by high-speed ferry from Barrack Street Jetty. Embark on a wildlife cruise to look for seals, dolphins, sea birds and other marine life. Afterward, you have free time on the island to explore independently; perhaps rent a bike or go swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving off one of the white-sand beaches. Maybe visit one of the historical attractions to learn about the heritage of Rottnest, which was discovered by Dutch explorers in the 1600s and has since been home to shipwrecks, an Aboriginal penal colony and an internment camp. Today, as an A-class nature reserve, it is loved for its

PERTH – 5 minute drive, perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts a number of tourist attractions. PERTH MINT 4km away. Very interesting to see gold poured into the mould, cooled, and then made available. You can touch the gold bullion or step on the scales and see your weight in gold. It is the only gold processing venue in Australia. LONDON COURT 4km away. London Court is a haven of shade, a hive of activity and a taste of old England. Fine quality shops and look up to read signs and historical facts, while you stroll through this mock Tudor Arcade.
