This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Los Angeles with some of the best Korean BBQ you'll find. The Korean population is so large in Koreatown that the signs are even in Korean. There are some terrific restaurants and bars to discover.

A really good area for food. I suggest parking and walking around. It's not really a shopping district but fully a food destination. My favorite Ramen (seriously, it's the best) is http://tsujita-la.com/

You have to visit, but it probably won't meet your expectations. I suggest hitting the sites like Hollywood sign, Walk of fame, and The Chinese Theater but don't plan on spending a day there.
