The beautiful Opera House is worth a visit. Walk on it's roof and look out over the Oslo Fjord or towards the city centre.
Take the metro to Oslo Central Station, or the tram or the bus to Jernbanetorget then walk a few minutes to the opera house.

Make lunch at home and eat it in the park
Norwegian tap water is perhaps the best and cleanest water in the world, so don't waste your money on expensive bottled water. A sandwich at a shop or café can be quite expensive, so I highly recommend making breakfast/lunch in the flat and then bring it with you and enjoy it in one of Oslo's many parks, especially on a sunny day.

Public transport is the easiest way to get around the city
Buy a 24hr travel/period card at 7Eleven or Narvesen or in the Ruter app if you plan on travelling more than 3 times a day. It will save you some money!
And remember that a single ticket is valid for one hour on any tram, metro or bus from the moment you tap in. If you are only travelling within the city centre you would only need a ticket for zone 1.
