Sight seeing

Inis Mór is the biggest island of three of the coast of Connemara. There is one of two ways to get out to the islands, by airplane or by boat- both of which are a maximum of 10 minutes away from the house. My personal favourite would be Inis Oirr of all the islands , as it's more relaxed and untouched but Inis Mór would be the most popular with tourists. Whichever you decide to travel to, it is a great day out for all the family. Just have your comfortable clothes and footwear at the ready to take in all these islands have to offer.

Food Scene

Salthill prom is one of my favourite spots, take a walk on the prom, and then pop into one of the cafes for a coffee or a spot of brunch/lunch - my favourite being Ground & Co! There are sandy beaches , where you can bring the kids to create some memorable sandcastles and then treat them to an ice cream or a trip to the aquarium. Or else, this is a great place to have a date night, go for a romantic dinner in the Italian Da Robertas or some Asian cuisine in Papa Rich. And if that's not enough to entice you to this lovely part of Galway city, the Cinema at the prom is kitted out with all leather reclining seats- which could be a great option with the kids or adults on a rainy day!
