South Park is a very cool urban neighborhood with some great food opportunities. Our favorite outdoor dining is at Station Burger for a great burger and play area for kids situated in a fun walking neighborhood. Great for after the zoo or Balboa Park.

Sightseeing
This is a historic park with several museums, theatres and restaurants. Dine at The Prado or have a craft beer at Panama 66. Just walking the grounds and checking out the coi ponds and arboretum is fun too. Lots of street performers and action to be seen.

This is a fun day trip to vacation island. Rent bikes and cruise the cute streets or have a coffee and people watch at Cafe 1134.
The Hotel Del is beautiful to go see the lobby or have a sunset drink at their beach bar.
The beaches here are the best for kids. Beautiful and the waves are usually small.
