This a shopping street in the city center. It starts next to the central station and ends up next to the Norwegian Castle. This is an expensive area, but worth a visit. You are able to take a picnic in the park of the Norwegian castle and go further up to Majorstuen, along Bogstadveien (if you still have money left on your trip ). I can recommand the restaurants Olivia, Lorris or Delicatessen in this area. The food is good and not too pricy.

You are able to take a picnic in the park of the Norwegian castle and go further up to Majorstuen, along Bogstadveien (if you still have money left on your trip ). One of the beautiful islands in Oslo fjord. You have to take a ferry for 5 min to get to the island. The Island is really nice and perfect for swimming, a little walk and a picnic.. The ferry goes from the docs not far away from the Opera house every 15/30 min.
