The views are amazing from Rimrock Drive! The cliffs are made of Entrada/Wingate/Kayenta sandstone layers in various shades of red and white. Rim Rock Drive follows the edge of the Uncompahgre Plateau, giving access to 16 major viewpoints and seven trailheads. Bike the 33 mile loop!

This ride is probably the most riden "classic" ride of the canyons area. Highly recommended for first tijme visitors to this area. It is very easily accesed from the freeway. There are many extension loops to please even the most hardcore rides (Horsethief, Moore Fun and Steve's). Awesome views of the Colorado River area. Bicycle Trails, Bicycling, Hiking/Nature Trails. Moderate to Moderately Difficult mtb.
