This little bistro is on the other side of the river but is a must see! Yummy bites but even better you are just steps away from the Savannah River. This restaurant is nestled in the Hammonds Ferry neighborhood. The houses are stunning! It’s fun to stroll through the neighborhood after lunch as you make your way to the greenway walking bath right along the Savannah River!

Great sights and a walking path or bike rental store-should you choose! For the quintessential southern experience I’d rent a bike and pack a picnic. Bike about 2.5 miles before you get to the beautiful area known as the Clearing: a picnic-perfect locale with gorgeous views of the Savannah River. You’ll be shaded by trees strewn with Spanish moss. Must give it a try!

This park has great jogging paths and shaded picnic tables. Also their are tons of activities planned like concerts and food truck events, especially during Master’s week!
