It always smells amazing here. They do sweet and savoury waffles. We particularly like the bacon ones, but they have a big range, and can whip you up a gluten free option. They are also dog friendly.

Nature sites and Parkland
Cricklade has over 80% of the natural population of snakehead frittilaries, so the North Meadow is the best place to see these rare flowers.

The very impressive and massive tower took 50 years to build and was begun in the early 16th century and, after remaining partly built for some years, was completed in the early 1550s financed by the Duke of Northumberland. There is little evidence of the earlier Norman tower. The Hungerford chapel was built by Sir Edmund Hungerford, who died in 1484.
