Southbank and the Arts precinct is a must when visiting Brisbane. Queensland Art Galley & Gallery of Modern Art and the Queensland Museum are highlights of the area. QPAC has an excellent section of live performances both music and stage. Take a walk through the Southbank Parklands or stroll the Sunday markets open every weekend 10am-4pm.

Australia Zoo is located just over and hour from Brisbane city. The QR Citytrain has a seven-day service that operates between the Brisbane and Beerwah. Passengers travelling on the QR Citytrain that arrived in Beerwah will be picked up by Australia Zoo's courtesy coach.

Take a Ferry
Many visitors to Brisbane miss one of the best parts having the city positioned on the river front. Brisbane's public transport system is vastly connected you can get to almost anywhere by train or bus. We recommend taking a little extra time to travel via ferry. It's a pleasure for a one off journey or for the every day commuter.

Don't forget walking shoes and a hat
Downtown Brisbane, Fortitude Valley, New Farm, West end and South Brisbane are all walking distance from one another. Depending on how much time you have choosing to walk from one neighbourhood to another really allows you to experience much of the delight Brisbane has to offer. If you are visiting make sure you bring comfortable shoes for walking and a hat. The Queensland sun can be harsh on hot days.
