Needless to say anything, Budapest biggest open air ice rank is situated just at the back of the Hero's square, and always crowded during the winter. You can bring your own skates, or even rent a pair, If you are a beginner there are plenty teachers who will help you out. Not much of a skater ? You can just enjoy the view with a hot chocolate as well. Hours: Monday - Friday : 9 AM - 1 PM 5 PM - 9 PM Saturday : 10 AM - 2 PM 4 PM - 9 PM Sunday: 10 AM - 2 PM 4 PM - 8 PM

Baths of Budapest

The city isn't named by accident to the "City of Spas", there are plenty of them all around, this little description will help you to decide, or simply try all.
Budapest is famous of its baths, what are really popular among the locals as well. I'd like to highlight two of it. Not depending on the weather or the season, if you take a longer trip, you should include one if these two baths, as they can be a once in a lifetime authentic experience. 1. Széchenyi Bath Doubtless that this bath is the most famous one, with it's huge open air hot pool. It's recommended to visit during the day for families or couples. However, every Saturday AFTER 10:30 PM until 3 AM, there is a fabulous event, called Sparty. This is a fun, night out activity for adults who are at least 18, or older. Hours: Everyday 6 AM - 10 PM 2. Rudas Bath The bath is situated in the Buda side, right on the bank of the river. You can't only enjoy the bath, but the stunning view of the city as well. Hours: Everyday 6 AM - 10 PM

Starters - Cold fruit soup A popular choice during the summer, surprisingly here, people consume this soup strictly NOT as a dessert, but as. starter before the min dish, what can sound weird a bit at first, but you'll not regret to try it out. Never take freelancer taxi

If you decide to take a taxi during your stay, I strongly advise for you, to avoid at any cost the " freelancer" taxis,. You can recognize them that, they don't have any company logo on their cars. They usually charge 4-5x the price, what it normally should be.
