Such a wonderful view of the Harbor. Quiet in the Winter. Filled with yachts, sailboats and catamarans . Nearby is a new park dedicated to John Steinbeck who wrote several novels ( Winter of Our Discontent and Travels with Charley ) while residing in our Village.

History
During the Revolutionary War, Sag Harbor was captured by the British and then re- taken by Colonial militia. In the 1800s, whaling ships from our Village would sail to Hawaii and far off reaches of the seas.
The great 1800s Whaling heritage of Sag Harbor is brought to life with a stroll through its museum.
