Quick and easy, offering up pan-Asian fare focusing on Chinese, Thai, and Indian. Even if it seems a bit fast-foody, the food quality is surprisingly good, it's quick, inexpensive, and uncomplicated. Popular sidewalk terrace with large shared tables in nice weather.

You might not expect to see this one on this list, but if you are handy in the kitchen then head to Globus for the very best meat, fish, and other fresh ingredients to prepare at home. It's expensive, but you can't beat the quality. There is also an extensive wine shop, with a house sommelier featuring everything from top Magnums to off-the-beaten-track pours that are ideal as a house wine to drink over a few days.

My recommendation, however, is the cordon bleu, which is simply the best I've had anywhere. There are only about 40 seats inside (and a 3 shared tables on the sidewalk outside in the summer), so plan ahead and book a few days in advance. Closed on Saturdays (I know...)
