One of our favorite museums in Chicago. It houses a world renowned collection of the 20th and 21st century art. Some of the paintings on display are the works of Pollack, van Gogh, Renoir, Monet and Picasso.
It is open daily from 10:30 am to 5 pm and on Thursdays it is open until 8 pm.
General admission includes access to the museum’s galleries and nonticketed exhibitions. General admissions is $25 / person for out of state residents, kids under 13 are free, teenagers and senior citizens are $19.
If you pay general admission there are a number of complimentary tours from 12 pm - 1 pm. They are first come first serve.
Access to certain special exhibitions requires an additional $7 ticket, which can be purchased after selecting your general admission ticket.

The Museum of Science Industry is one of the largest science museums in the world. It holds 1000's of hands on exhibits that helps people learn how things work. This museum is interactive and fun for kids. It houses a U-505 German Submarine that you can walk through.
The museum is open daily from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Basic admission for adults (ages 12+) is $22 / person and children (3-11) is $13 / child.

The planetarium is open everyday from 9 am - 4 pm. Basic admission for adults is $19 and $8 for kids.
