This is the highest point in the area and affords a great almost 360 degree view of San Diego County, from the ocean all the way to the mountains far to the north and the more local mountains as well. Also has a tribute set in granite of those who served our country!

My absolute favorite place to go hiking and relax at the beach. There are many different trails here with a great variety of levels from easy/short hikes to longer and semi difficult. The "Beach Trail" brings you from the top of the mountain directly down to the beach. LOVE this trail.

My absolute favorite place to go hiking and relax at the beach. There are many different trails here with a great variety of levels from easy/short hikes to longer and semi difficult. The "Beach Trail" brings you from the top of the mountain directly down to the beach. LOVE this trail.
The famous Mission Beach Boardwalk is such a fun spot. You can ride your bike, skate, run or walk on the boardwalk while sightseeing the beach. Also right next to Belmont Park where you can get on rides and play games!
