Great for elephant seal watching! Particulary in the spring, when the babies lie with their mommas on the beach. Amazingly beautiful beach.

Tucked into a cove along Tomales Bay, this part of the bay is actually warm enough to swim in during the summer. Local spot. Has about a 1/2 mile walk to get to the beach through a trail.

Hikes
About an 6-8 mile out and back trail. One of my favorite trails because it has a combination of hills, shoreline, and beach. The end of the trail ends at Alamere Falls, which is a large waterfall that cascades from the cliff into the ocean. You are able to scramble down the embankment, or just enjoy from above. Can be a busy trail, as the secret of this trail is now out.

Great place to visit for adults and children. Amazing indoor museum with a butterfly rainforest area, aquarium, planetarium. Located inside Golden Gate park, which is a great place to visit as well.
