I highly recommend to take the ferry from Karakoy ferry station to Kadiköy. It takes about 20 minutes with a lovely sea travel experience. Moda is a lovely neighbourhood in Kadiköy. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to Moda from Kadiköy ferry station. Lots of coffee places around and dont forget to get ice-cream from Ali Usta.

There are lots of cafes and restaurants in Karaköy. If you wanna cross the bridge and visit the Asian side, take the ferry from Karaköy ferry station.

It's the best place for a nice breakfast. It has a lovely garden at the back.

Don't let taxi drivers charge you more!
Do not ask the taxi drivers how much it would cost to your destination. Unfortunately many of them would charge you ten times more. Just get in the cab, make sure the taxi meter is on! This way they can't cheat.
